Why this page

Les Contes d'Ariane offers guided audio tours — walks, cycling routes, local discoveries — through Belgian towns and landscapes, for all kinds of visitors. In creating these tours, our team occasionally uses artificial intelligence tools — for some visuals, for the narration voices, and as an aid for research or writing.

This page explains, transparently, where and how AI is involved. It is published in accordance with Article 50 of the European Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), applicable since 2 August 2026, which provides for adapted disclosure for this type of creative content.

Illustrations and visuals

The illustrations for our postcards and some tour visuals are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools, then selected, retouched and approved by our team.

Narration voices

The voices narrating our audio tours are generated by speech synthesis (text-to-speech technology). The texts they read are written and approved by our team.

Texts and scripts

The texts for our tours — stories, anecdotes, historical or practical information — are written by Les Contes d'Ariane. Artificial intelligence may be used as a research or drafting aid, but every text is reviewed, reworked and approved by our team, who hold full editorial responsibility for it.
